What will the Covid-19 situation look like in 2022?

Following Covid-19 insights are deciphered based on Bazi readings. In Chinese astrology, Bazi is the unique set of characteristics surrounding the date and hour of your birth, which can then be interpreted into how situations in your life might pan out.

The Day Master of the 2022 is 戊, Yang Earth, usually represented by a massive solid rock or mountain.

Yang Earth Day Master is however surrounded by an abundance of Wood and Water elements, which either clashes against it or drains it. Furthermore, elements of Fire and Metal are both absent from the BaZi chart. Fire is required to drain Wood and is the supporting element of Earth. Metal is supposed to trim the Wood, to keep it under control. The Day Master, Earth, is weak as a result.

Earth can be viewed as an individual, our body or cells. Wood which surrounds it, and clashes against it, could be likened to the Covid-19 situation. Hence, the Day Master will continue to experience ongoing virus attack. A strong presence of Water also further strengthen the Wood around Earth.

Water symbolizes Wealth and Abundance. Day Master needs to be strong and worthy enough to acquire the wealth that is present in chart. Water also symbolizes income and cash flow. This lead to the possibility that the focus for most people or countries in 2022 will be their economy and income. Increasingly, countries are opening up borders in the post-Covid economies. The result of these higher level of global economic activities and travels in the wake of post-Covid-19 will not help to stop the spread of virus.

The absence of Fire and Metal further aggravate this situation. Earth element is also associated with Spleen and its partner organ, Stomach which are in charge of digestion. Fire is also represented by Small Intestine, and Metal by Large Intestine. These organs collective form our gut system, which housed 70-80% of our immunity system. The absence of Fire and Metal therefore signify a weak immune system, where the general defense mechanism against the virus is compromised.

Fire provide resources to Earth. The absence of it indicates insufficient resources to tackle the Covid-19 situation. It could be in the form of insufficient supply of vaccine or medications, a continued slew of mistrust or misinformation, uncooperativeness, or simply lack of concerted effort being put in. Fire also represents the Brain and Heart. This spells out the reluctance to help with national efforts to tackle the coronavirus, e.g. many refusing vaccination, or limited Covid vaccines for poor countries. There are also indications of more people being presented with serious symptoms, or even deaths.
