AFFLICTED STARS
Illness Star (Star 2) – Centre
The Star 2 will take center palace in the flying star chart for 2025 and is very strong as it is supported by the fire and earth elements. Although the Star 2 is becoming more auspicious in Period 9, it has to be activated correctly. If activated wrongly, the star will bring about health related issues.
REMEDIES
To counter the after effects of Period 8, it is recommended to place in cures for now. Metal hulu, items with metal elements or metallic colour items are a good cure for this sector. Avoid Fire elements in this sector (i.e. Red carpet, ceramic vases, etc.). To tap the energy of the Star 2 in period 9, a metal wishing bowl with 9 small crystals can be placed in this sector. It is also recommended to carry or wear health cures.
Robbery Star (Star 7) – North Sector
The robbery flies in the North sector of the house in 2025. This may bring about betrayal, theft, and lawsuits. The star is of metal in nature.
REMEDIES
Introduce water elements in this sector as a cure to this Star. Avoid any elements that will enhance the effect of this Star such as metal or earth elements. Those born in the year of the Rat or the middle son of the family may want to carry the rhino and elephant as a cure to this star.
5 Yellow Star (Star 5) – Northeast Sector
The #5 Star is also known as the 5 Yellow (Misfortune Star). It is the strongest afflicted star in terms of negative energy. It brings about misfortunes, bad luck, lawsuits, accidents, serious illness, and even possibly death. In 2025, the 5 Yellow Star is strong, cures must be in place to reduce the impact of the 5 Yellow.
REMEDIES
Those with houses or rooms facing Northeast or bedrooms and important function rooms in the Northeast sector (i.e. Studies, dining hall, living room), do implement cures. 5 elements pagoda are good remedies to the 5 Yellow star, remove Fire and Earth elements from the afflicted sector. Introduce Wood and Water elements to reduce the impact of the 5 Yellow Star. Keep the Northeast sector quiet and avoid any renovations works in this sector. For those born in the year of Ox and Tiger and the youngest son of the family, do carry the cures of the 5 Yellow Star with you.
Quarrelsome Star (Star 3) – Northwest Sector
The Quarrelsome Star sits in the Northwest sector of the house. This star brings about arguments, disputes and in the worst case, may bring about hostility. As this star resides in the Northwest Sector, it symbolizes that there will be feelings of impatient and hostility. Chances of conflicts and misunderstanding are high.
REMEDIES
Patriarch of the house, leaders of organization or nations and those who are born in the years of the Dog and Boar will also be afflicted with this star. To counter the effects of this star, it is recommended to remove water and wood elements in this sector. Fire elements items are a good cure to this star.
3 Killings – East Sector
The 3 killings is one of the major annual affliction. It brings about 3 kinds of losses. Loss of income, loss of love one and loss of reputation. In 2025, the 3 killings sits in the East Sector.
REMEDIES
Ensure that the following are practice in the East sector:
Do not perform any renovations or knocking in the East sector.
Keep noise level and activities low in the East sector.
Do not sit with back facing 3 Killings.
Do not sit in the 3 Killings direction.
It is okay to sit facing 3 Killings though.
The 3 Celestial Guardians consisting of the Chi Lin, Fu Dog and Pi Yao are potent cures for the 3 Killings.
Tai Shui (Southeast 2 Sector – 142.5 o-157.5o)
Tai Shui for 2025 will sit in the Southeast 2 Sector. The Tai Shui may bring about setbacks, such as unstable luck for career and wealth, face obstacles or troubles in marriage, health issues, and/or even suffer from disasters.

Do observe the following for the SE2 sector:
Do not sit facing SE2 Sector.
Do not perform any renovations or knocking in the SE2 Sector.
Keep noise level and activities low in the SE2 Sector.
Those who clashes with Tai Sui should pay attention to personal health, safety, and avoid dangerous activities.
A pair of Pi Yao can be introduced in the sector to appease the ruling Tai Sui. The following zodiacs signs will be afflicted with the Tai Shui in 2025: Snake (Sit - 值太岁), Boar (Clash - 冲太岁), Tiger (Harm - 害太岁), Monkey (Punishment - 刑太岁)

Current Prosperity Star (Star 9) – East Sector
Star 9, the current prosperity star of period 9, sits in the East Sector. Those with who have main entrance and rooms in the East Sector will be able to benefit from the effects of this Star. The Star will also bring about good fortune to those born in the year of the rabbit and the eldest son of the family.

To enhance the effectiveness of the Star 9, introduce wood and fire elements to this sector. Having activities and movements, keeping this sector lighted and cleaned will also enhance the energy of this sector.
Victory Star (Star 1) – Southeast Sector
